Annual Ladies' Retreat held at the First Baptist Church, Mineral Wells.
Our guest speaker, Sherry Tunnell.
Sherry Tunnell is the wife of John Tunnell, pastor of
Calvary Baptist Church in Abilene, TX. Sherry speaks at engagements such as
ours whenever God opens the door for her to do so. Standing with
Sherry is her son Jesse Tunnell, pastor of First Baptist Church in Brock,
TX.
Our "Kitchen Crew". We couldn't have done it without them.
The 4 "Kitchen Ladies" are Barbara White, JoAnn Wallace,
Dru Sell & Mitzi Hall.
Mitzi has been our kitchen chairperson since our very first retreat in
2004.

such a blessing
We had 221 ladies register for this year's retreat. Despite the icy
weather, 104 still showed up! God was good to us & kept the roads in
Mineral Wells dry & safe.
We made sure that everyone received their 8 hugs for the day.
Delores was on our prayer team & Vivian helped with the photography
Heather played the keyboard to accompany us while we sang a few Hymns.
As usual, we did something silly. These are our new "travelin' shoes"!

Phyllis gave a great lesson on the subject of
"Praise", even if she WAS dressed sort of funny!.
Videographer Jim Clayman caught the day's events
on DVD for us. Jim is also the Music Minister of First Baptist Church
in Mineral Wells, TX. If you would like to acquire a 2-DVD set of this

We instantly fell in love with Sherry & have all formed a special bond
with one another.
"This year was such a blessing to me. My part was
so easy because you guys led us to praise and prepare our hearts so
completely, that God was all over that place ready, willing, and able to
bless us all. AMEN!? What a blessing! Thank you for blessing me so much
with your sweet ministry! I’m still on my spiritual high from this
