1st Annual Ladies' Retreat at the Newberry Cumberland Presbyterian Church Center.
This retreat was held at the Newberry Cumberland Presbyterian Church's beautiful retreat center in the country. The original church was built circa 1850, so the atmostphere was quaint and nostalgic, away from the hub-bub of the work-a-day world. It was a great success (Some folks said it was, "The best they had ever been to!"). The limited seating for only 50 people made being there feel even more special.
We already have a vision for next year's retreat and we are looking forward to hosting it next year at Newberry again. Better get your reservations in early!

Our CD's were made available so we could raise funds for the "Got Life Ministries" and the church that owns the retreat center.
The quaint & cozy retreat cottage helped make everyone feel comfortable & helped us all discover new friends.
Several "younger" ladies came to learn how they too could be a light for Christ. Cassie (front-left) shared her testimony with all of us.
Phyllis led our Bible study which was about God's definition of "light".
