3rd Annual Ladies' Retreat held at the First Baptist Church in Mineral Wells, TX.

 

We got together with our guest speaker, Marsha Taplett (The smiling face in theMiddle who is the Fitness Director at the Greenhouse Spa in Arlington, TX.) before the retreat & quickly became friends. Also pictured is Karen Bunker (The other smiling face at the end on the right side), HTH's energetic Manager.

Marsha gave us tips for healthier living & started us off on our "Amazing Makeover."

Our "Kitchen Team"worked SO hard to make this day a yummy (& healthy) experience.

We gave away lot of great door prizes.

Our registration has grown from 50 ladies at our first retreat in 2004 to 142 in 2005 to an incredible 182 participants in 2006!

Sharon went to new heights in order to capture this glorious day on video.

Phyllis taught our Bible study & had everyone's attention.

And, yes we acted goofy & had lots of fun!

Dorinda won the prize for the best "chicken dancer".

Can you imagine 182 ladies doing the "chicken dance"?

Thank you so very much for allowing me to be a part of your wonderful ladies retreat. My heart was truly blessed by the kindness, love, support, and fellowship of each of you. From the time I arrived at the hotel, until the very end of our time together I enjoyed myself. My spirit is so full, my cup is running over. Praise be to God! What fire, what sharing, what praise and worship!! I had a mighty good time with you my godly sisters in Christ. Thank you for the beautiful songs of praise that lifted up my spirit, and touched the core of my heart and soul. I thank God for each of you, and that He allowed our paths to cross. Dear Hearts to Him Gals,

What an AMAZING day we had Saturday!!!! God truly blessed me and I know so many others as well. God is so wonderful and I learned some new things from Marsha and Phyllis' speaking time. It made me think of how I need to look inward and see the ugly things that God does not want me to have. Thank you for the Scriptures. God's Word is sure a double edged sword and it did not return void. I am so thankful to have all of you wonderful ladies in my life. I am already looking forward to next year.

I knew from the first conference HTH did for us in 2002 that God was going to do amazing things through you and He sure has done that. Look at what He has done. 160 women were there Saturday. 160 women heard the best news of their life in that Jesus loves them and He came to give them life. PRAISE BE TO GOD!!! I had such a fun time. Isn't it wonderful that we can come together as sisters in Christ and have so much fun. Whoever said Christians were boring just do not know the ones I do!!

I just wanted to let you know that I enjoyed the ladies retreat. You ladies just seem to be blending more and more into a great ministry both in your music and in your speaking and sharing with people. I personally like the more upbeat and contemporary music so I really liked the Zoe Girl song that y'all did and I like the way y'all sound when you do Point Of Grace music. Your speaker was very good as was Phyllis' bible study. The food was really good too. Mom has made the broccoli salad several times already.
